Strawberry Matcha Latte with Cold Foam

Strawberry Matcha Latte with Cold Foam

Not to be dramatic… but if Japan saw what we’re doing with their matcha would they approve? Probably not. But honestly? I like it better at home than from most coffee shops. It’s fun to make, easy to customize, and tastes next level.

Serves: 1

Time: 5 minutes

  • INGREDIENTS

    1 tsp Ceremonial-grade matcha

¼ cup Warm (not boiling) water

1–2 tbsp Strawberry jam or preserve

    Ice

Almond milk (or any milk, to fill)

    ¼ cup Creamer (any kind)

1 tsp Jam (for the foam

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Whisk matcha with warm water using a handheld electric frother for about 1 minute
    2. Layer jam at the bottom of a cup or jar, add ice, and pour in the milk, leaving a little room for the matcha and foam
    3. Pour in the matcha and mix or shake to combine
    4. Froth creamer and 1 tsp jam until thick and foamy (1–2 mins). Enjoy!
