Protein Crunch Bars

9g protein + 4 ingredients… tastes like a candy bar! Crispy, chocolatey, actually satisfying, no refined sugar, no weird stuff, no bake. 10 minutes and your fridge is stocked all week

 

Serves: 8 to 10 (depending on how you slice them)

Prep time: 10 minutes
Chill time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour 10 minutes

  • INGREDIENTS

    2 cups Quinoa puffs
    ¾ cup Dark chocolate, melted

    1 tbsp Coconut oil
    ½ cup Creamy almond butter (or peanut butter)
    2 scoops Vanilla protein powder (I used plant-based, 9g per bar)

     

    TIP: Use whey and peanut butter instead and you'll get more protein

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Mix quinoa puffs and protein powder
    2. Melt chocolate with coconut oil
    3. Add melted chocolate and nut butter to quinoa mix, stir till fully coated
    4. Press into lined pan. Swirl extra chocolate and nut butter on top, sprinkle more puffs
    5. Freeze 1 hour, slice
