Mini Deep Dish Pizza Bites

Mini Deep Dish Pizza Bites

They’re the cutest, most snackable form of pizza. Perfect for pizza night or when you want something fun without doing the most. So easy anyone can make it

Serves: 2 to 4 (makes 8 to 10 mini pizza bites)

Prep time: 25 minutes (includes dough resting time)

Cook time: 16 to 20 minutes

Total time: 40 to 45 minutes

  • INGREDIENTS

2 Store-bought pizza dough (room temp)
    Olive oil cooking spray
¾ cup Pizza sauce or marinara
    2 cups Shredded mozzarella
    ½ cup Mini pepperonis

    ½ cup Pineapple chunks
    1 Jalapeño, thinly sliced
    Fresh basil
    3 tbsp Grated parmesan

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1.  Preheat oven to 425°F and let the dough sit at room temp for 20 minutes. Cut the doughs into 8 to 10 equal pieces (I recommend 8 for thicker, fluffier pizzas or 10 for a thinner, more snacky bites)
    2. Grease a mini loaf pan (don’t skip, this is how you get those crispy edges). Spray the top or grease your hands, then press each piece of dough into the pan, covering the bottom
    3. Add a light layer of sauce, then load it up with mozzarella, pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños (don’t be shy, add plenty because it cooks down and you want every bite covered)
    4.  Bake for 16 to 20 minutes, until golden, bubbly, and crispy on the edges
    5. Remove from the pan and finish with fresh basil and grated parmesan
