High-Protein Dubai Chocolate Shake

Meet my High-Protein Dubai Chocolate Shake, a post workout treat that satisfies your sweet tooth and your protein goals.
 

Serves: 2 shakes

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 25 to 30 minutes (or 50 minutes for chocolate-coated cups)

  • INGREDIENTS

    Shake:

    2 Frozen bananas

    2 scoops Chocolate protein powder

    2 Soft medjool dates, pitted

    2 tbsp Pistachio butter

    Pinch of Cinnamon

    Salt

    1½ cups Pistachio or almond milk

    A few Ice cubes

     

    Phyllo Crunch:

    Toasted kataifi (shedded phyllo)

    1 tbsp Melted butter

     

    For Serving:

    1 cup Dark chocolate chips

    1-2 tsp cocnut oil

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    Serving:

    1. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil
    2. Drizzle inside 2 plastice cups, swirl to coat, and place upside down on a plate
    3. Freeze for 30 minutes

     

    Phyllo Crunch:

    1. Toss chopped kataifi with melted butter on a sheet pan
    2. Bake at 350°F for 10-16 minute, stirring halfway (timing varies by brand)

     

    Shake:

    1. Blend all Shake ingredients until smooth
    2. Pour into cups and top with Phyllo Crunch and crushed pistachios
