Blackberry Feta Checkerboard

Juicy blackberries plus salty feta arranged into the cutest checkerboard. It is sweet, salty, fresh and takes about 10 minutes to make. Blackberries are in season so it is the perfect time to make this
 
Serves: 4 to 6
Time: 10 minutes

  • INGREDIENTS

    8 oz Block feta

    18 to 24 Large blackberries

    1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil

    1 to 2 tsp Balsamic glaze

    1 to 2 tsp Honey

    Fresh mint leaves

    Freshly cracked black pepper

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Lightly drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze onto a flat serving platter where you’ll build the checkerboard
    2. Pat the feta dry, then cut it into cubes roughly the same size as your blackberries
    3. Arrange the feta and blackberries in alternating rows to create a checkerboard pattern
    4. Drizzle lightly with honey
    5. Finish with fresh mint and cracked black pepper
