Beginner Friendly Chuck Roast

  • INGREDIENTS

    2 lbs Chuck roast

    2 tsp Kosher salt

    2 tsp Pepper

    1 Onion, chopped

    1¼ cup Bone broth 

    2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

    2 tbsp Olive oil

  • INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Pat the roast dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Add to a pot with onion, then pour in broth and vinegar
    2. Cover and bake about 2½ hours until fork tender. If it’s not shredding easily, it just needs more time. Shred, then return to the oven uncovered for 30 minutes to deepen the flavor and crisp the edges.
